John
Michael Perley, 63, a life long
truck driver from Sunburst, Montana passed away Wednesday,
August 9, 2006, at a Shelby, Montana, hospital due to congestive
heart failure.
Visitation with family receiving
friends from 2:30 till 3:30 p.m. will be ,
Sunday August 13, 2006, at the Whitted Funeral Chapel in Shelby,
Montana.
Survivors include his wife of 25
years, Susan Perley of Sunburst;
mother, Suzann Perley of Vulcan, Alb;
sisters, Judy (Del) West of Red Deer, Alb, and Jane (Jon)
Perley of Lemon Creek BC; brothers,
David (Audrey) Perley of Calgary,
Alb, Leslie (Selma) Perley of
Nepean, Ont, William
Perely of
Mapleridge, BC, Ron (Lisa) Perley
of Golden, BC, and Dennis (Cheryl) Perley
of Kelowna, BC.
John was born Nov. 2, 1942 at
Magrath, Alberta to John & Suzann (Matejka)
Perley He grew up and was educated
in the Magrath and Vulcan area. He
married Susan Carpenter Oct. 10, 1980 at Anchorage, Alaska and
moved to Sunburst, Montana in 1983.
John drove truck for 40 years, and
had been an owner-operator most of that time before retiring in
2003.
John had a passion for golf, and
enjoyed playing with all his buddies. He was very proud of the
hole in one he made at the Marias
Valley Golf Course on 1999. He also enjoyed his antique Corvette
and racing horses. He was a member of the Canadian Marketing
Assoc.and the
Marias Valley Golf and Country Club.
