Marie
May Pelletier, 71, a nurse formerly of Shelby , passed away from
Congestive Heart Failure at her home in Missoula on Wednesday, March 21,
2007 surrounded by her loved ones. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00
pm on Monday, March 26, at the Shelby Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day
Saints with burial to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery . Whitted

Marie was born on April 29, 1935 in Baker
Brook , New Brunswick , Canada to Augustin and
Laure (Nadeau) Bouchard. On March 26, 1958, she
and Pierre Pelletier were married in Baker Brook. One year later they moved
to the Sweet Grass Hills in Montana . They lived in Kevin, Sunburst and
lastly in Shelby .
Marie worked in the nursery at the
Marias Medical Center in Shelby for 27 years
retiring in 1996. Marie babysat her honorary grand-children, Parker and
Paige Lund. When their parents, Dana and Cris,
moved to Missoula in 2002, Marie followed in 2003.
Marie is survived by her sons, James (Danna)
of Bozeman and Donald of Ferdig; her honorary
son and daughter-in-law, Dana and Cris Lund and
their children, Parker and Paige of Missoula; her sisters, Esther
Poulin of Chelnsford,
Ontario, Leda Babineau and Pauline Boucher of
Edmunston, New Brunswick, Jeannine
Emond of Edmont
Land, CT; and her brothers, Jacques Bouchard of
Chelnsford, Ontario and Rosairre Bouchard
of Baker Brook, New Brunswick.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her
husband, Pierre, in 1998, seven brothers and four sisters.
