Mary “Noni” Momberg, 83, a retired ranch wife from Cut Bank, passed away
Thursday, April 8, 2010, at a Cut Bank Hospital from natural causes. Visitation
is 3:00 pm Sunday, April 11, at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church with a rosary at
7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am Monday, April 12, at the church with
burial to follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery. Whitted Funeral Chapel is in charge

Survivors include her sons, Gary Momberg, David and Danette Momberg all of Cut Bank, nine grandchildren – Chris Martel, Great Falls, Misty Momberg, Cut Bank, Michelle Momberg, (Sam Edinger), Cut Bank, Amelia (Tim) Edwards, Great Falls, Ami (Bob) Lindskog, Sweet Grass, Nicole (Travis) Shook, Cut Bank, Lisa (Cody) Fetters, Cut Bank, Matt (Abby) Embody, Missoula, Tyler Embody, Cut Bank – as well as twenty-three great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Gus Momberg; daughter-in-law, Mary Momberg; grandson, Jason Momberg; two sisters; and three brothers.
Irma was born May 21, 1926 at Port Chicago, CA to Antonio and Caroline Mary Dellagnese where she grew up and graduated from high school. On May 23, 1948 she married Gus Momberg at St. Francis Church in Port Chicago.
They moved to Cut Bank in the early 1970’s to operate the family ranch. Noni also worked as a lunch room aide for the Cut Bank Schools.
She was an active member of St. Margaret’s Church and the Senior Center.
She also enjoyed fishing, gardening and mostly spending time with her family.
