Amber Gerlean Lee Mertz, infant daughter of Eric & Tonia (Whitney) Mertz of Shelby, passed away Tuesday at a Great Falls Medical Center. Private family services will be Monday at the Whitted Funeral Chapel with burial in the Mountain View Cemetery. A gathering of friend will begin at 3:00 PM at 330 6th Ave. S. in Shelby.
Others survivors include brothers, Caleb & Bryant Mertz of Shelby; grandparents, John & Bonnie Whitney of Shelby, Dennis & Charlene Mertz of Bozeman; Great-Grandparents, Benny & Phyllis Ruff of Shelby; aunt, Chrissy (Herb) Kelly of Newton, TX; uncle, Tim Whitney of Shelby along with numerous great aunts uncles and cousins.
