Lloyd A. McLean, age 91, a life long Shelby area farmer, passed away Monday, May 7, 2007 at a Great Falls hospital, at his request cremation has taken place and private family services will be held at a later date. Whitted Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Condolences can be sent to www.whittedfuneralchapel.com. 

Survivors include his son, Lloyd (Eva) McLean of Shelby; four grandchildren, Shawn McLean of Valier, Crystal Vien of Livingston, Misty Barnes of Wasilla , Alaska and Ian McLean of Shelby ; and 2 great-grandchildren.  

He is preceded in death by his wife Esther. 

Lloyd was born October. 19, 1915 on the family farm between Dunkirk & Shelby . He attended country school and Shelby Jr. High. He served with the US Army in the South Pacific during WW2. Lloyd married his wife Esther Hanson in May of 1942.  Lloyd enjoyed spending his winters in Mesa , Arizona .
