Anna Lulu Farris McDonald, 80, a homemaker
from Kevin, passed away Friday, November 23, 2007, at a Great Falls hospital due
to natural causes. Memorial services will be 11:00 am Saturday, December 1, at
the Kevin Methodist Church . Whitted Funeral Chapel is in charge of
arrangements. The family suggests memorials to the Kevin Depot Center or the
Montana Hope Project, PO Box 5927 ,

Anna is survived by her daughter, Linda (Mike) Larson of Great Falls; son, Robert McDonald of Oilmont; step-son, Brian Johnston of Vacaville, CA; sister, Laura Tinsley of Helena; five grandchildren, Sarah Cole, Becky McDonald, Amy Linder, Rian Larson and Katherine Larson; as well as eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her nieces, Pat Schwenke, Anne Jacobson, Mary Knaup, and nephew, Mick Tinsley.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marvin McDonald; daughter, Janice Ann; son, Scott McDonald; grandson, Doug Larson; nephew, Gary Tinsley; great-nephew, Gary Jacobson; and great-niece, Vicki Schwenke.
Anna was born November 6, 1927 at Kevin to Earl and Alberta (Jeffries) Farris. In 1928 the family moved to the Turner Valley Oil Fields in Alberta where they lived until 1935 when they moved back to Kevin. She attended elementary school at Kevin and then Oilmont and Cut Bank High Schools graduating in 1946. Anne married Lloyd Johnston in 1947; they later divorced. In 1958 she married Marvin McDonald.
Along with being a housewife, Anne had worked as a secretary for the Kevin & Oilmont Elementary Schools. She was a member of the Kevin Methodist Church and enjoyed crafts, needlework, pottery, ceramics, reading, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.
Mom, thanks for taking care of us these last
months. We will miss you.
