Scott Anthony McDonald, age 50, a college student and Army veteran from Oilmont, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2006 at his home. The coroner has not yet determined the cause of death. A gathering of friends will take place at 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 31, at the Kevin Senior Citizen’s Center. Whitted Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his mother, Anna McDonald of Kevin; daughters, Sarah (Lenny) Cole of Chester and Becky (Tyson) McDonald of Oilmont; sister, Linda (Mike) Larson of Great Falls; brother, Rob McDonald of Roundup;  step-brother, Brian Johnston of California; 6 grandchildren, Peyton, Ivan, Jasmine, Cain, Taylor and Ryder; niece, Amy & Katy; nephew, Rian; cousins, Pat, Anne, Mick and Mary; aunt, Laura.  Scott was preceded in death by his ex-wife, Vickie Nelson; father, Marvin McDonald.

Scott was born Oct. 23, 1955 at Downey, CA. He grew up and was educated at Oilmont Elementary.  He graduated from Sunburst High School and attended college at Great Falls. Scott also served in the US Army.  He enjoyed hunting, cooking, fishing, rock ’n roll, and spending time with his grandkids.
