Clifford
J Johnson, 90, of Cut Bank passed away, Saturday, June 25,
at Benefis Skilled Nursing Center in
Great Falls of natural causes. Memorial services are set for
2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 29, at the Whitted Funeral Chapel in
Cut Bank. Burial will follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery with
military honors. Condolences may be sent to the family at

be given to the Benefis Skilled
Nursing Center or the Great Falls Dialysis Unit.
Clifford was born in Fergus Falls,
Minnesota to John and Lora (Gabriel) Johnson on November 12,
1914 and attended school in Stadie,
North Dakota. Clifford grew up and worked on the Johnson
homestead outside of Stadie until he
was 19 when he went to work in Minnesota. Clifford was in the
Army Air Corps from 1941 to 1945. Clifford and Iola
Nissen were married on June 16, 1949
in Williston, No Dakota. He worked as an oil field worker/sales
consultant for C-E Natco retiring in
1990.
Survivors include his wife, Iola
of Cut Bank; his daughters, Dorothy of Lemoore, California and
Lori of Cut Bank; and brother Wilfred of Shelton, Washington.
He is also survived by 2 grandchildren and 2
great-grandchildren. Clifford was preceded in death by his
parents, his brother, Kenneth, and his daughter, Charlene A
Jones.
