Celia was born January 8, 1918 in Power, MT to Charles and Alma Johnson. She and Karl O. Ingebrigtson were married on September 17, 1937. He preceded her in death January 27, 1970. In 1949 they moved to Valier where Celia worked many years at Curry’s Thriftway and Dick’s Grocery. She was a member of the Valier Lutheran Church and was active in the VLCW and Altar Guild. Her favorite hobbies were gardening, painting, and baking, among many others. Celia was devoted to and cherished by her family who always received ‘goodie boxes’ including her famous cinnamon rolls at Christmastime. Celia is survived by her children, Karl (Ilene) Ingebrigtson of Great Falls, Lorraine Severson of Bellevue , WA, Phyllis (Bob) McGrew of Whitefish, and Lonnie (Bill) Stokes of Valier. Also surviving Celia are her 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charles of Florida and Elmer of Great Falls, and son-in-law, Carl Severson of Bellevue , WA . |
