Survivors include her two daughters, Donna (David) Jacobson of Cut Bank and Kay (Leroy) Coleman of Crestview, Florida ; and son-in-law, Charlie Schaeffer of Cut Bank. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Christine (Joseph) Aubele of Huntington Beach, CA, Maureen (Joe) Rhemann of Whitefish, Lynn (Anthony) Oberhelman of Kalispell, and five great-grandchildren, Erin, Joseph, David, Jeremy, Nicole and Taylor. In addition to her husbands, she is preceded in death by her brother, John Lyon and sister, Florence Nelson. Edith was born November 26, 1916 at Shelby to Malcom and Fay (Lutz) Lyon where she was raised and graduated from high school. She married Kenneth Clarkson of September 6, 1936. They lived in Cut Bank where Kenny owned and operated Kenny’s Machine Shop. They divorced in 1962. She worked at JC Penny in Cut bank as a sales associate for many years. Edith married Dean Humphrey on August 14, 1989 and they made their home in Cut Bank. He died in 1994. Edith was a former member of the Eastern Star Glacier Chapter #58. She enjoyed baking, reading, word search puzzles and visiting with family and friends, The family suggests memorials to the Northern Rockies Medical Center Heart Monitor Program. |
