Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Roger Hibbs; sons, Wayne (Charlotta) Hibbs and Rodney (Darcy) Hibbs all of Cut Bank and Bob Hibbs of Granbury, TX; sisters, Hazel Johnson and Georgia Icenoggle both of Cut Bank; grandchildren, Jodi, Cole, Will, Jesse, Bobby Gail, Lee, J Dannie Marie and Kendall; and great-granddaughter, Carsyn. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ronald Hoyt.
Lillian and Roger Hibbs were married July 16, 1955. She traveled with Roger on a seismograph crew from Browning to Corpus Christi, TX to Mount Pleasant, PA before returning to ranching. They bought their first land in 1963 and it grew from there. They moved to Cut Bank in 1993. Lillian was an accomplished equestrian and a top notch barrel racer. She participated in the first Montana High School Rodeo in 1951 and received the barrel racing championship that year. |
