Dennis
James Grey, age 61 of Babb, passed away Sunday at his home due to kidney
failure. Funeral Mass is 2:00 pm Friday at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church,
burial with military honors will follow in the Babb Cemetery. The wake will
begin at the Babb School this afternoon where a rosary will be said at 7:00 pm
on Thursday. Whitted Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife Delma of Babb; daughters, Cala (Cliff) Preuss of Gillette, Wyoming and Patricia (Roy) Weikum of Conrad; sons, Kenny (Dee) Cassidy of Babb, Eddie (Kim) Cassidy of Bateland, South Dakota and Shawn Grey of Gillette, Wyoming; 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was born Nov. 11, 1943 at Browning to Lawrence & Vivian (Arnoux) Grey. He was raised and educated at Rocky Boy and Browning. He served with the US Army from 1965 to 1967. He worked as an Iron Worker for many years traveling to several different jobs in many parts of the country. Dennis was very musically talented and played lead guitar and sang in his own country rock band, Loose Gravel.
He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with his family, picnicking, cooking and watching pro wrestling.
