Survivors include her sons, Michael (Julie) Dyrdahl of Shelby and Charles (Debi) Dyrdahl of Aurora, Colorado; a sister, Eileen (Torv) Halverson of Missoula; a brother, Philip Gaudet of Shelby; grandchildren, Michael, Randi, Wesley, Nicole and Kelsey; great-grandchildren, Devany, Adele and Joshua; and numerous nieces and nephews.. She is preceded in death by her husband James; sons, David and Larry; and a sister, Shirley Hoffman. Bonnie was born June 30, 1933 at Big Sandy to Augustus & Alice (Flatness) Hobbs . The family moved to Box Elder in 1943 and where she graduated from high school in 1951. She then moved to Shelby and married James Dyrdahl September 24, 1955 at Choteau. They moved from the family farm near Devon to Sunburst in 1968. Bonnie was the office manager for Northern Telephone in Sunburst for over 20 years. Bonnie was an active member of the Coutts Sweet Grass Lions Club and had served on the Sunburst City Council. Bonnie loved collectables especially Precious Moments and her home was full of many different items. Her nieces and nephews remember how welcome Bonnie made them feel all the time. |
