Donald Raymond Anderson, 75, a retired rail
inspector and Korean War veteran from Shelby, passed away
peacefully at his home Saturday, April 22, 2006. Visitation is
Wednesday from 1 until 8 p.m. at the Whitted Funeral Chapel.
Funeral services are Thursday, April 27, at 4 p.m. at the
Whitted Funeral Chapel. Burial with military honors will follow
in the veteran's section of Mountain View Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Delores, of
Shelby; daughters, Debbie Kralick of Helena and Jeanne M. Parker
of Tolleson, Ariz.; son, Donald D. Anderson of Des Moines, Iowa;
stepdaughters, Diana L. Habets of Shelby and Valerie Stratton of
Whitlash; stepsons, Johan Fisher of Hungry Horse and James
Silvia of Shelby; sister, Dorothy Larson of Glasgow; a brother,
Bob Anderson of Whitehall; 20 grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Walter
Bugden; grandparents, Jerry and Carrie Keller; one grandson and
several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Donald was born Nov. 13, 1930 at Havre to Gordon and Gladys
(Keller) Anderson and was raised and educated in Chinook. He
served six years with the USAF during the Korean Conflict and
married Delores Hunt July 21, 1989 at Conrad.
Donald worked as a rail inspector for the Burlington Northern
Railroad for 32 years before retiring in 1992.
He was a member of the VFW and enjoyed fishing, camping, playing
keno machines, cooking and barbecuing.
