Bessie M. Denny, 82, died February 26, 2010 at the
Marias Care Center due to natural causes.
Cremation has taken place and at a later date she will be buried alongside her
husband and daughter, Georgella, in the Manville, Wyoming cemetery with
graveside services.
Bessie was born January 24, 1928 in Jirah, Wyoming. The family lived on a farm
until her mother bought the Jirah store and post office. She attended Manville
High School. She married Anthony "John" Denny February 26, 1949. They had two
daughters. Bessie was a baker for over 18 years at Rocky Mountain College in
Billings, Montana. Everyone loved going and getting one of her cookies.
Survivors include her daughter, Johnine (Ray) Waller of Shelby; brother, Jim Lee
of Billings Montana; along with 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She
was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and daughter, Georgella.
Bessie loved to read and visit with her grandchildren. Everything was about
family. She and her husband never went on a vacation without their daughters
until they were grown and gone.
Bessie will be missed by all of us, but we know she is with the ones she loved
who have gone on before her.
