Rae Calf Boss Ribs, 21, a head start teacher from Browning, passed away
Friday at the Browning Indian Health Services. The coroner has not yet
determined the cause of death. A wake is in progress at Glacier Homes Community
Center where a rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m. Monday. Funeral Mass is 2:00
p.m. Tuesday at the Little Flower Parish with burial to follow in the Willow
Creek Cemetery. Whitted Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements. Condolences

Survivors include her daughter, Joshlynne LaMere; her parents, Daniel & Theresa (Hoyt) Calf Boss Ribs; her mate, Marcus LaMere; her sisters, Tristinia, Melanie, Valerie & Ashlie Calf Boss Ribs; brothers, Daniel & Justin Calf Boss Ribs; grandparents, Alex & Myrna Hoyt Sr., Violet Gilham & Daniel Calf Boss Ribs Jr.; niece, Jazlynn Calf Boss Ribs; nephew, Johnny Lee Edwards and her best friends, Teri Weasel Tail & Angel Dusty Bull.
She is preceded in death by her son, Joshua James LaMere, grandparents, Hilary Gilham, Carmen Calf Boss Ribs, Johnny & Mary Old Chief, Clarence “Bish” & Lilly Hoyt, Daniel & Mae Calf Boss Ribs, Chub & Dolly Racine, Edward & Mary Flamand.
She was born June 17, 1984 in Browning where she graduated from high school in 2003 and completed one year at the Blackfeet Community College.
Danelle loved spending time with her daughter, Joshlynne and Grandpa Alex and Grandma Myrna. Every night she made sure that she and her daughter gave Joshua a kiss good night.
Danelle loved her job as a teacher at the Blackfeet Early Childhood Center. She could always be found playing with the kids in her classroom.
She was blessed with her two best friends, Teri Weasel Tail & Angel Dusty Bull. They all grew up from little girls into beautiful young ladies. It was through their support that helped her through the loss of her son.
Danelle was a beautiful, caring young lady that left her imprint with everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by everyone.
