Victoria
Hazel Hartford Clark, 93 of Shelby, a long time waitress and
Lewistown resident, passed away Dec. 21st at the
Marias Care Center. Visitation is Thursday (Jan 5th)
from 1:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Whitted Funeral Chapel. Funeral
services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday (Jan. 6th) at the
Community United Methodist Church in Shelby. Graveside services
and burial will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 7th) at
the Central Montana Memorial Gardens in Lewistown.
Survivors
include beloved daughter-in-law, Connie
Flesch of Shelby; five grandchildren: Blaze
Flesch of Shelby, Serene (Claudine)
Flesch of Fort Collins, CO., Roxie (Bill) Sukup of Norfolk, NE.,
Kim (Paul) Reese of Lewistown and Mona (Bob) Swanson of
Gillette, WY; eleven great-grandchildren and eight
great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her
parents, 7 siblings and a son, Larry.
Victoria was
born July 24, 1912 at Lewistown to George & Susan (Krasky)
Hartford where she grew up and was educated. She worked as a
waitress for many years at Tracey’s in Great Falls and at
various cafés in Lewistown including the Yogo Inn. She moved to
Shelby in 1994 to be closer to her family.
Vickie had
been an active member of the Christian Church at Lewistown and
was a member of the Methodist Church in Shelby and TOPS. She
enjoyed cake decorating, doing crafts, playing cards, bingo,
watching stock car racing and baseball, listening to old time
country music, the Lawrence Welk Orchestra and dancing.
Now in the
hands of our heavenly father, she will be missed by all who knew
her.
