Audrey
Lois Seward Hendrickson, 75, of Shelby, passed away Monday at
the Marias Care Center due to natural causes. Memorial services
will be 2:00 p.m. Friday (July 14th) at the Whitted
Funeral Chapel. A reception will follow at the
Kow Loon Chinese Restaurant.
Audrey is survived by a son Wayne
(Ricci) Hershey of Dearborn; grandchildren, Tony (Diane) Hershey
of Devon and Sandra (Josh) Hershey Hout of Shelby;
great-grandchildren, James Lloyd Hershey and Sarah Ann Emerson
of Shelby, Alissa, Kayla and Allison Hershey of Devon and her
aunt, Ethel Flickenger of Shelby.
She is preceded in death by parents, husband Alfred Hendrickson
and ex-husband, Bob Hershey.
Audrey was born on the family farm
near Ethridge April 26, 1931, to Willis & Eva (Clark) Seward.
She attended country schools in the Valier & Dunkirk area.
Over the years, Audrey had many
jobs including driving school bus, cook, an Avon sales rep,
truck driver and also the COD Laundry in Shelby. She loved
gardening and was especially proud of her prize pumpkin that
made the local paper. She also enjoyed sewing.
In 2005 Audrey accepted Jesus
Christ as her Lord and Savior. She was loved by many people will
be greatly missed.
The family suggests memorials to
the great-grandchildren.
